The Youth Exchange„Environmental Rehab” took place on 13-19 October 2024 in Veliki Kapusany, with travel days on 21 and 28 August.

The youth exchange Environmental Rehab focused on environmental awareness.

Partners of the third youth exchange were:„Future World“ Association - Bulgarian association, Green Sun Association - Romanian organization, Mátészalkai SZC Budai Nagy Antal Technikum és Szakgimnázium. 8 participants from Bulgaria, 9 from Hungary, 9 from Romania and 10 from Slovakia - a total of 36 participants participated in the exchange in Veliki Kapusany.

The aim of the project was to introduce young people to an ecological lifestyle. We showed them what elements make up a greener and more sustainable life: using less chemical cleaning products in the home, looking for alternatives instead of plastic products, baking bread, rolls, baguettes and pastries at home with natural leaven, gardening, composting, growing vegetables and fruit at home, surrounding themselves with natural things, making decorations from fruits picked in nature.

Youth exchange objectives:

• reducing the amount of household waste
• motivating participants to develop more conscious consumer habits
• supporting separate waste collection
• promoting shopping without packaging
