As part of this mobility, two representatives of the organization – Mgr. Edina Megyesiová and Mgr. Annamária Bálint – traveled to the city of Nyíregyháza in Hungary, where they visited the cooperating organization Kulturális Életérért Közhasznú Egyesület. This organization cooperates closely with the local government and implements activities for young people in the region.
The mobility had two main objectives:
- To find out how young people’s initiatives reach local decision-making bodies and how their needs are reflected in specific municipal measures.
- To examine the way of working with volunteers within the framework of the ESC (European Solidarity Corps) program.
The visit also included participation in the activities of the local radio MustárFM, where ESC volunteers cooperate with local young people in the preparation and broadcasting of programs. The delegation had the opportunity to see the process of creating a radio program, the technical background and the way volunteers cooperate.
In the afternoon, there was an informal meeting with local youth, several of whom had already participated in the activities of Luminosus n.o. The experience, feedback and possibilities for further cooperation were discussed.
