In August 2026, Bodrogkeresztúr, Hungary, hosted the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Inclusive Minds, Healthy Lives.” The project brought together young people from Slovakia, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Hungary.
Throughout the week, participants explored mental health, emotional wellbeing, healthy lifestyles and social inclusion. Through non-formal education, team-building activities, role-plays, discussions and reflection, they explored how to better understand their own needs, take care of their wellbeing and become more aware of the people around them.
Creating a safe and supportive group environment was an important part of the exchange. Participants also had the opportunity to learn about each other's cultures and gradually build new international friendships.
The programme included a trip to Tokaj, where the group travelled by sightseeing train and enjoyed a boat trip together.
The exchange was filled with learning, new experiences, friendships and unforgettable memories. It showed that mental wellbeing, healthy lifestyles and inclusion are important parts of building stronger and more connected communities.
