Within the framework of the Erasmus+ youth exchange project “Harmony of the Body”, a 7-day youth mobility took place in Latvia from March 8 to March 14, 2026, bringing together young people aged 15 to 18 from Latvia, Slovakia, and Poland.

During the project, using non-formal education methods, participants gained knowledge about the importance of a healthy lifestyle and took part in activities related to healthy nutrition, physical activity, and mental well-being. Through practical sessions, participants improved their understanding of how to develop healthy daily habits, while also fostering intercultural dialogue, cooperation, and personal growth.

Project participants shared their impressions of the mobility activities:

"During this project, we had many different non-formal education activities in which all participants were involved. In international groups, young people took part in a task called ‘Mission Impossible’, where they had to complete various challenges that initially seemed unachievable, but through teamwork became possible. Participants created posters about healthy lifestyles, tips, and ways to achieve them. They also made posters about relaxation methods and presented how these can be used in everyday life. The project also included a trip to Jūrmala, where we played bingo and filmed videos about myths and facts related to a healthy lifestyle. Before heading back, we also had a yoga session by the sea. One of the main activities was creating digital infographics in groups, where participants summarised everything they had learned during the project. Overall, the project provided a lot of new knowledge about a healthy lifestyle.”

The project was implemented by the Ogre Municipality Education Board in cooperation with partners from Poland and Slovakia.
