From 10 to 17 July we participated in the international Erasmus+ Youth Exchange in Olkusz within the project „Together we can change the world“. Together with young people from Latvia, Spain and Slovakia (Luminosus, n.o.) we had a unique opportunity to discuss active participation in society, share experiences and create new friendships.

During the week we visited the city of Olkusz, learning about its history, culture and heritage, taking part in workshops, city activities and team tasks that helped us to break the first barriers and get to know each other better. One of the highlights was a visit to the Support Centre for Children with Disabilities in Bukowno, where we took part in games, workshops and shared activities - it was a powerful and moving experience that showed that integration can be natural and enriching for all.

The project allowed us to showcase our own social projects and ideas for improving local communities, from proposals for youth centres to community benches and graffiti walls. We also participated in cultural evenings, learning about traditional food, music and dance brought by our international partners.

This week was not only an intense learning and community experience, but it also gave us the opportunity to get to know each other, make new friendships and strengthen our motivation to be active citizens. Thanks to the project, we gained unforgettable experiences that will inspire us for further initiatives.
