Dear volunteer,

We are delighted to invite you to the 4V Volunteer Jamboree, which will take place 1–4 October 2026 in Szeged, Hungary.

The event will bring together volunteers from Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Serbia, Albania, and Georgia to get to know one another, exchange experiences, volunteer together, and build new international connections.

During the event, participants will:

• take part in international team-building and networking activities;
• participate in workshops focusing on community engagement and volunteering;
• spend one day volunteering in the local community in Szeged;
• present good practices from their own countries during an engaging International Evening;
• work together on promoting volunteering and active citizenship.

The event will conclude with a festive Volunteer Gala, where the V4 Volunteer Award will be presented. At the beginning of the event, participants will have the opportunity to learn about each other's volunteer work. Throughout the programme, they will vote for one another to select the volunteers who will receive the Top Volunteer title. We kindly ask you to take an active and open-minded part in this process as well.

Important Information:

• The official language of the event is English, so participants are expected to have at least a communicative level of English.
• Participation is required for the entire four-day programme; therefore, we can only accept applicants who are available throughout the whole event.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
