We are pleased to announce the inspiring outcome of our international “Voluntary Action Cuisine” Erasmus+ project – a unique Volunteer Action Cookbook offering practical tips and creative ideas for organizers of community initiatives.

The project began in November 2024 and was developed in cooperation between five countries: Slovakia, Hungary, Albania, Poland, and the Czech Republic. Slovakia was represented by our organization, and we proudly participated in exchanging experiences, methods, and best practices.

Just as a cookbook represents not only ingredients but also approach and passion, this publication encourages readers to confidently implement their own volunteer actions. Volunteer actions are short, easily accessible activities in the public interest, where participants contribute their time voluntarily and without reward – often seeing the results of their work immediately. This format is especially appealing to young people and those with fewer opportunities, as it allows them to experience volunteering firsthand and potentially engage in it long-term.

The Voluntary Action Cuisine publication draws on the rich experiences of five European countries and provides numerous proven “recipes” for volunteer actions – including the necessary “ingredients,” step-by-step processes, and inspiring ideas.
